In 2008 Kathy was awarded Corporate Business Woman of the Year with the Townsville Business Women’s Network and in the following year was appointed Director of Commercial and Client Services with Barrier Reef TAFE, responsible for driving commercial change in a heavily Government funded environment.

After life changing circumstances, Kathy made the decision to commence her own consulting business and it wasn’t long before the opportunity was presented to work with JESI, a software product that needed to achieve commercialization.

Appointed in 2013 as the Executive Project Manager, Kathy was initially responsible for developing the Strategic Marketing Strategy, Business Planning, acquiring funding, determining market relevance and beta testing. In Mar 2014, JESI became commercialized and now has traction in Australia, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, South Africa with numerous multi-national clients and small to medium size business.

JESI has been by far the most significant career achievement.
